I had a 3d/4d ultrasound on Friday at 22 weeks + 1 day! It was absolutely amazing. She quite the activie little girl and the technician was contantly chasing her trying to get good pictures. She cooperated and in a few, I think we got her sucking her thumb! The optimal time for 3d/4d is after 26 weeks but we couldn't wait any longer. We are scheduled to go back at 30 weeks - which will be right around Valentine's Day. At that time, she should be more filled out and we will be able to see more pronounced facial features. She is just now starting to put fat and muscle on her body so she looks pretty skinny. I'm amazed at how strong she is though . . . she can kick and punch like you wouldn't believe. We also bought a device that lets us listent to her heartbeat and hear her kicks. Sometimes she kicks so hard the device bounces on my stomach. It is quite entertaining! I have some videos I am going to post as soon as I figure out how to do that.
Brian just finished painintg the nursery Cadillac Pink . . . might be a little pink. So, we might be painting it again tomorrow! The crib arrives on Monday so we need the room painted before it gets here. We have bedding, a rug and the crib. I've picked ou the chair and the dresser/changin table and now we need to order those! Brian is also going to change the layout of her closet to accomodate little clothes . . . and LOTS of little shoes:) He has his work cut out. Once we have the nursery finished, I'll post some pictures of it!
